Why We're Great >

Karan holds an MSc (Distinction) in Behavioral and Economic Science from the University of Warwick. Previously, he co-founded the Warwick Behavioral Insights Team, heading the Nudge Unit where he spearheaded projects to improve campus sustainability. He is also Adjunct Professor at the Indian School of Public Policy. Karan’s interests lie in strategic thinking, product design, Big Data and finance.

His research draws on approaches from cognitive neuroscience, animal learning, and artificial intelligence with the goal of developing a framework for understanding how the mind works.

Puneet is an applied microeconomist who specializes in modelling human behaviour through mathematical equations, testing their predictions through lab/field experiments, and updating the model with social aspects unveiled through behavioural data. He is currently pursuing his PhD Economics degree from Georgia State University and holds an MA Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. His research focuses on studying human behaviour in the areas of education, corruption, tax evasion, government effectiveness, among others.

His interest lies in understanding cognitive biases, rational choice theory, how nudge can positively impact the social and economic environment, and the ethics of behavioural sciences.

Her research interests lie in neuromarketing, understanding consumer decision making and attentional processes, and interactions of the decision environment with social contexts.

He also once worked with the Behavioural Science Group, Warwick Business School, designed and implemented a laboratory experiment about people’s psychic hedging and affective forecasting under uncertainties. Jiaqi’s interests lies in consumer’s irrational decision making, experiment design, emotional intelligence and data science.
